Ethiopia, 2017

In Ethiopia the first humans lived, Ethiopia was the reign of the Queen of Sheba. The history and the culture of this country are present all the way from the tribes region in the south, to the Tigray mountains, to the Danakil desert, known as the hottest place in the world. Hundreds of people in white scarfs and shawls gather every day out of the churches to pray and listen to the litany starting at 4 a.m. The atmosphere is deep and magnetic, the pure white shadows move endlessly over the clay colors of the land.
